Generative AI tools already have widespread use across campuses. Nonetheless, 71 percent of faculty members said their institution had not issued guidelines for using generative AI or for using virtual teaching assistants to communicate with students, and many report dissatisfaction with tools such as virtual TAs, according to a recent survey by The Chronicle.

In tandem with a lack of institutional guidelines, the fast-changing nature of these technologies presents challenges for faculty and staff. Ethics remain an issue, and there is no one-size-fits-all approach to AI adoption, as different institutions have different needs and aptitudes for these technologies.

Join us on Wednesday, November 13, at 2 p.m. ET for a Virtual Forum conversation where a panel of experts will share their experiences and insights on the intersection of AI and student engagement, as well as discuss the findings from our latest survey on the topic.

Learn more about:

  • How faculty and staff use AI to streamline communications

  • What ways generative AI tools can support student engagement

  • What roles chatbots play both in the classroom and at the institutional level

  • How colleges are deploying AI to tackle core functions
