At a time when many community colleges underperform, the Accelerated Study in Associate Programs (ASAP) has helped several community colleges almost double graduation rates and increase the number of students who transfer to four-year colleges. Primarily, the program aims to provide ongoing support to students through a holistic intervention model.
ASAP’s expansion beyond NYC has been successful, and it was recently replicated in a rural context at West Virginia University at Parkersburg.
