Every college cheers for their students, wishing them a successful journey from start to finish. While many colleges make efforts to improve student success, including things like offering advising services or fun extracurriculars, there's one area that's often overlooked:

Loneliness.

According to a sample survey conducted by the American College Health Association, 53 percent of students suffer from loneliness.

Join The Chronicle on Wednesday, October 23 at 2 p.m. ET for a new Virtual Forum, "The Student-Success Journey: Helping Students Overcome Loneliness."

During this forum, we'll discuss ways that institutions can set up students for success by exploring the growing epidemic of loneliness, how it impacts students, and how colleges are helping students overcome feelings of isolation.
