Establishing a meaningful community at college can be a daunting and difficult task for any incoming student. The task becomes more complicated for those in unique positions, such as students who are veterans, parents, grew up in foster care, or are incarcerated. Partnerships may assist institutions in reaching out to these disadvantaged and often excluded students.
To learn more about how your institution can help establish communities for students who are often underrepresented, join The Chronicle’s upcoming virtual forum.
Chronicle senior editor, Alex Kafka, and Reynolds Community College President, Paula Pando, will co-moderate "How Creative Partnerships Increase Colleges' Impact," where a panel of professionals will explore ways to create creative college partnerships to aid students. The event will begin at 2 p.m. EDT on September 6.
