With more data comes more responsibility.

Colleges know a lot about their students today. Information gathered through tracking student movements, sending out surveys, and access through applications can guide universities and colleges on best practices for student success. But what does it mean for student data privacy?

Join The Chronicle on July 28 at 2 p.m. EST for a 75-minute virtual forum discussion on the importance of privacy protections in an increasingly tech-driven world. Panelists will explore what these protections look like in practice, along with students' perceptions of their data privacy and ways that colleges can be more transparent in how they use, store and protect that data.
