When is the Chronicle Community website closing?

The Chronicle will be closing our Community website in early spring. Please check back for an exact date

What will happen to my Chronicle account when Chronicle Community closes?

When Community closes users will still be able to use their credentials to log into Chronicle.com.

Basic account information including name and email address will be carried over to Chronicle.com and can be edited by logging into your account on Chronicle.com.

All documents in Chronicle Community will no longer be available to you once the site is closed. Please download and save your documents by logging into your account.

What if I don’t know if I have a Chronicle Community account or know my account credentials?

Begin by visiting the Community website and select reset password. If nothing is sent to your email address, the account does not exist.

What will happen to my “Community Profile”?

All profiles and personal data will be deleted once Chronicle Community closes.

Where do I go for Advice, Salary Data, and Jobs?

Please visit us at the following links: Advice Salary Data, Jobs

Please note that saved Job information in Chronicle Community will be deleted. Please save any jobs or historical applications you wish to keep.

Will I still receive the “Your Career Newsletter?

Yes, this change will not affect your subscriptions to newsletters

What will happen to all of the data in Community?

All personal data housed in Community will be deleted and purged from The Chronicle’s databases

All documents in Chronicle Community will no longer be available to you once the site is closed. Please download and save your documents by logging into your account.

Do I have to put in a request to have my data purged and deleted on Chronicle Community?

No action is needed. All data will be purged and deleted that is housed on Chronicle Community.

What will happen to “messages” in Community?

All messages/invitations/requests will be deleted. Please save any messages you need before Chronicle Community closes.

What will happen to “Groups” and the content that lives in them?

All groups and content within them will be deleted.

What will happen to the content in “Resources?”

All content under the “Resources” section of Chronicle Community will no longer be available to the public. Please save any booklets and syllabi before Chronicle Community closes.
