Southern Cross University (SCU), in Australia, recently introduced a new learning model that offers a more engaging and interactive learning experience. The research-backed model, called the Southern Cross Model, resulted in a 20-percent increase in pass rates, higher grade-point averages, and greater sustained satisfaction.

What did SCU change, and how did the university successfully transition from a traditional teaching model? Join us on April 16 at 2:00 p.m. ET to find out. The Chronicle got the opportunity to sit down for a discussion with SCU’s pro vice-chancellors, professors Thomas Roche and Erica Wilson, who shared their experiences and learnings from introducing this innovative learning model.
